WHEN: December 23, 2024, at 6 pm at the Haynes’
house – 4411 Honeywood Drive
WHAT TO PREPARE: If so inclined, bring a letter for Brevard to celebrate his retirement and/or bring some words for a brief toast for our gathering.
DRESS CODE: As the invitation noted, the dress code is “adventure chic.” We’d like to give you a bit more guidance here by way of some examples:
- Brevard will be sporting some climbing knickers that he wore while summiting mountains when he was much younger.
- Taylor will be wearing some of the good doctor’s authentic climbing ropes and gear.
Feel free to wear something that would mean you’re ready to
respond when a friend calls and says, “Quick, I’ve got a great adventure
idea! There’s no time to change--- we have to head into the woods right
now!”
Can’t wait to see you and celebrate together on the 23rd!!!

I was ready to hop on the river in my life jacket and Tevas (and sparkly star pants of course!)
Erika had the most wonderful headband on tonight (it's a headlamp AND a headband!),
and Jim found his old Boy Scout sash to celebrate the occasion!

As Christy said, it was truly a sacred space as there were some wonderful toasts shared tonight and so much love in the room!!
