Taylor has committed to UC Santa Cruz to study robotics engineering next year (and to soak up the amazing mountain biking trails all around campus and around the Santa Cruz area.) Go Banana Slugs!

Runner's High

I’ve definitely got a bit of a runner’s high right now as I got to run 4 out of the 5 legs (21 miles!) in the Sunflower Relay today with some of my favorite people in the world (I needed a last long run before my 50K in a few weeks), and the best part was that Taylor ran the last leg with me (7 miles) and finished saying that this was one of his favorite things of the year. As we started on our segment of the trail together, I asked him to hold my silly sunflower headband, and he ended up wearing it the whole way bringing the sunflower spirit with me to the finish. Hands down, this was one of my favorite memories with this guy for sure!!

Thank you to Abba once again for the heavy duty glue gun he gave me for Christmas a few years back which is the gift that keeps on giving.... It made this sunflower tutu a hit today!
