Anna's ultimate frisbee team had a tournament in Burlington (about an hour north of Seattle) this weekend, and we were so delighted to get to have the team over for lunch yesterday and to be at 3 of their games today. The team mascot is the dinosaurs, and I am so grateful for neighbors who helped me pull together a dinosaur costume (from old Halloween costumes) for the team mascot today that made it a REALLY fun day cheering for Anna's team! This video is of Anna in the costume doing the team dance during halftime (nothing like watching a dinosaur dance to Footloose to brighten your day).

The name of the team is the Green Shirts. (The lore is that many years ago, the ultimate frisbee teams were not allowed to wear green shirts for some reason. So the team wore blue shirts but named themselves the Green Shirts.) And their mascot is the dinosaurs (because why not?).
