lots to celebrate

today is the 23rd of May- 

the day that Taylor was born TEN years ago.... (WOW!) 

the day that my grandmother Hattie was born (she would have been 102 today!) 

the day that Jason's grandmother died ten years ago (so thankful for the life she lived...) 

and the day that my cousin Sarah is getting married TODAY! (whoohoo!!) 

As my Uncle Sam said so beautifully in his toast to Sarah and James last night at the rehearsal dinner, every day leads to this day.... (quoting Jerry Garcia back in the day).

even though we still have a few weeks of summer left, we are getting in the spirit! 

(thankful to one of Janie's friends who let us swim yesterday afternoon) 

stuffed with mac n' cheese 

celebrating TEN years with pancakes made with Kit-Kats in them. Why not?!
