Mountain Goats

I got to provide shuttle service for Liam and Taylor today for their run/hike through the Enchantments, and let me just say that they were beasts knocking out 20 miles and over 5000 feet of elevation gain in just 7 hours. I went the first 4 miles with them to Colchuck Lake and was so impressed with the jet packs they seemed to have attached to their backs. So proud of these two mountain goats!! 

4 am departure from Seattle and a 7:30 am start time at the trailhead

Colchuck Lake was my turnaround spot so I could head back to run the shuttle

Summer Reunion

 

It's always a treat when Elizabeth comes back in town each summer to rally a few of us together from our Edge days...

Swim Bike Run

 

Today was Bill and Elizabeth's 28th wedding anniversary, and to celebrate, they were dividing and conquering to support Liam and Micah. Bill was in Spokane for Hoopfest with Liam, and Elizabeth was cheering Micah on in a triathlon in Bellingham. She asked me to join her, and I happily obliged with pom poms and banners in tow. (and bonus- Micah got first in his age division!)
