Day 6 of Walking - June 19, 2026
Portuguese Camino
Padron to Teo (Rua de Francos) - 6.14 miles
but I added 15+ miles to this running a 13.1 mile section with Hassan and walking alongside some folks for a couple of miles before walking back to the hotel (so about 21+ miles for me!)
Walking Blessing
That each step
may be a shedding.
That you will let yourself
become lost.
That when it looks like
you're going backwards,
you may be making progress.
That progress is not the goal anyway,
but presence
to the feel of the path on your skin,
the way it reshapes you
in each place it makes contact,
to the way you cannot see it
until the moment you have stepped out.
