Buen Camino!

On the Camino,
together
we practiced
catching rhythms
of prayer
and silence
and walking
alone
and
with one another.
We practiced settling in.
The singing bowl called us to stillness.
We practiced the silent mile—
moving from getting here
to being here.
We practiced becoming more attuned
to the light that is everywhere,
looking for God
in expected
and unexpected ways,
looking for pixie dust,
for glimmers
of beauty,
truth,
goodness,
and love in our midst.
We experienced the kindness of strangers
and discovered how beautifully
the Camino provides.
We began to catch glimpses of You,
seeing that You are always with us in surprising guises.
And there was much grace for the encounters
we missed along the way—
knowing that You always see us
even when we don't see You.
We learned that each of us
walks our own Camino.
It is not about proving
or striving,
but about acceptance,
grace,
and connection.
It was a time of spiritual formation.
A time of being with.
A chance to reorient ourselves
to our belovedness
and our connectedness.
I was not merely a travel agent managing logistics;
I, too, became a pilgrim,
sojourning alongside others on the journey.
And through it all,
You deepened life
and deepened joy
So,
thank You
for the extraordinary gift this has been.
Thank You
for the time to practice,
to live,
to learn,
and to be.
Thank You.
for You have been so good,
so very good.
Thank You for walking alongside each of us,
holding our hands on our Camino—
leading,
guiding,
loving.
As we return home,
settle me in.
Help me to burrow in
and make space.
Help me carry the Camino within me.
Help me follow You into love.
Help me greet You in ordinary and hidden moments.
Continue to deepen life,
deepen justice,
and deepen joy.
And open my eyes to the expected
and unexpected gifts
along the way.
Buen Camino!
We came
carrying words.
Healing.
Disrupt.
Grace.
Present.
Return.
Trust.
Belonging.
Story.
Reflect.
Stillness.
Rhythm.
Listen.
In process.
Faith.
Freedom.
Invitation.
Newness.
Pixie dust.
Steady.
Hope.
Grit.
Anticipation.
Centered.
Acceptance.
Generosity.
Integration.
Self-discovery.
Open-hearted.
Beauty in humanity.
Some of these words
became companions.
Some became teachers.
Some became prayers
we didn't know we were praying.
Some are still unfolding.
And for all of it—
for every step,
every conversation,
every silence,
every laugh,
every blister,
every glimpse of You—
thank You.
May these words
continue walking with us
and teaching us
and inviting us
further up
and further in.
