Plan A was to go camping with our small group on Whidbey Island this weekend, but that got thwarted because of the predictions of heavy rains. (100% chance). Plan B was to meet at Montlake Terrace Pool this afternoon for some fun time with all the kids, but when we got there, the power was out. It took over 45 minutes to get home because of power outages around the city. (I've never thought to give thanks for stoplights before!) The storm certainly has been dramatic here today with really strong winds (up to 59 mph reported in some areas!). We are thankful to all be safe and sound and thankful for Plan C of a potluck dinner at the Atkins' house this evening...
