As a part of the mission trip heading to Jackson, Mississippi team this summer, the kids have been asked to serve locally before the trip. Taylor joined his buddies with Union Gospel Mission's work to go on a "Search and Rescue" night on Sunday. They drove around with UGM staff all over Seattle delivering supplies, letting homeless people know about UGM shelters, and learning people's stories. Taylor came home pretty tired (as the shift was from 7:30- 11:30 pm) but he said it was so awesome and worth the time.
I am so grateful for these opportunities UPC is giving our kids for their formation and growth!
