Glow in the Dark Egg Hunt

This year for Anna and Taylor's Easter baskets, I decided to shake it up a bit and throw a twist in the routine with a glow-in-the-dark egg hunt. I put battery-operated tea lights inside plastic eggs along with post-it notes with $ amounts. Dani got to participate too so with 24 eggs that I hid, I told them they could each only find 8 eggs. Of course, Taylor was not too thrilled about that rule, but then he did end up finding the one with the post it note with the $20 on it so he stopped complaining. At the end of the egg hunt, they tallied their amounts, and I Venmoed them their prize money--- such a sign of the times that $ is more fun that chocolate bunnies for them!
