Plan B

We left the house on Sunday morning at 3:45 am to catch our 6 am flight to go on our trip to Mexico with the Atkins, the Langfords, and the Hutchinsons to celebrate Dave's 50th birthday. Our flight was going to San Francisco and then routing to Puerto Vallarta. Upon landing in San Francisco at 8 am, we got notification that our flight had been cancelled to Mexico due to Hurricane Orlene that was turning into a Category 4 storm on the coast of Mexico.

We immediately pivoted and decided to make some serious lemonade out of the lemons, and we turned into a travel agency in the waiting area at the airport. We decided to stay in CA and jumped into Plan B:  we got our trip refunded, found an Airbnb in Cambria, rented 2 cars, headed to USF to see Liam, and then made our way to Cambria. These friends are gold and we are so excited to have this time together (no matter where we are!)
