A week or so ago, Taylor, Jason, and I pulled out this question from our little tin from Daystar and talked about what memories came to mind. One that was mentioned was the boondoggle with the inflatable Santa in Nashville when our neighbors woke up one morning in December to a giant Santa in their yard. It was a prank from a friend, and they said we could use it to pass on the love to some other folks before Christmas. Jason took it to the White's front doorstep in Georgetown and onto the Allen's back porch next door, and then he put it in Mom and Dad's driveway before their Christmas party (I'm not sure they have forgiven us for this prank yet!). On Christmas Eve, we put it in Jed Dunkerley's bedroom- but Jed got keys to our house and put it on our roof while we were at a movie on Christmas afternoon. It had quite the adventure that year before we returned it to our neighbors.
So, we decided to find an inexpensive one on Amazon and put it on top of the Atkins' carport. Good timing last night because Tamara came down with Covid, so this provided a humorous start to her day at home today. :)
the culprits :)
