I hosted my annual gathering of friends to join me for a time of prayer (along with some wine and chocolate too) to mark my birthday. This time around, I focused on the theme of gratitude and asked everyone to reflect on this past year and bring an object that represents something they were grateful for. We took some time for everyone to share, and it was such a special time to mark this birthday week with dear friends in such a meaningful way.
