I read this article this weekend with some wonderful wise advice from moms, and I loved this entry:
“Time doesn’t stand still.” This is one of the many pieces of advice my mom, Gigi, gave me that continues to stick with me. Whenever I was nervous or anxious about something (be it a test at school, a job interview, or the NYC marathon that I ran in her honor), she reminded me that time doesn’t stand still, and that I’d get through it. Whenever I face a challenge now, I remember that I’ll make it through to the other side. Now, as I get older, I also like to think of this phrase from the flip side: Whenever I’m celebrating (whether it’s a friend’s wedding, an accomplishment, or a birthday) I remind myself that time doesn’t stand still — and take the time to soak in and enjoy every moment.

Our friends Rachael and Dereck invited us to their "Board Party" on Saturday where everyone
was invited to bring a charcuterie board built on a theme.
I tapped into my inner elementary teacher and
got out some cookie cutters for my contribution.
It could also bring out the Jackson 5 vibe:
A B C, It's easy as
1 2 3, as simple as

Baby you and me girl
someone who came made this Game of Thrones board.
(Doritos and sour patch candy and salsa, anyone?)
