Both the kids had pretty spectacular weekends soaking up the beauty of California....

Taylor called on Sunday afternoon in the best spirits as he and three friends had been able to go to explore Big Sur in all its majesty Saturday night.

Meanwhile, Anna and Abby went to run a half marathon at night in Joshua Tree.
The start time was 6 pm so they got to see the sunset and then watch the stars come out while they were running 13.1 miles. :)
