We get to have Anna here under our roof for a couple more weeks until she launches into her grand adventure in Patagonia, so I'm soaking up simple times of making dinner together and listening to music in the kitchen. She played a song by Joy Oladokun tonight, and I loved it so much that I wrote down some of the lyrics:
lyrics written on the scrap of paper above:
Where is our humanity?
Have we lost our capacity
To see that every breath we breathe
Is a thread in the tapestry
That winds into eternity?
Have we lost our capacity
To see that every breath we breathe
Is a thread in the tapestry
That winds into eternity?
