Blessed are you who didn’t rise,
still here while the world moves on—
in the long Saturday where nothing has happened yet.
Blessed are you in the ache,
no lilies, no trumpet—
just breath, just staying,
just one more day.
Blessed are you who wonder if you missed it,
if new life passed you by—
but even now, something quiet is loosening the stone.
Stay with what is not finished.
Love is nearer than it feels.
The story has not ended— it is only just beginning to open.

Even though we were out of town Easter morning, our Easter cross tradition continued this year. Whitney and I put some greenery on it on Wednesday, and Kristi added some more flowers over the weekend and put it up Sunday morning. This is my favorite kind of group project!
