Christmas caroling at its best

mother/daughter book club discussing Nancy and Plum tonight
(a fabulous book written by Betty MacDonald that we gobbled up with delight this week)

annual tradition of Christmas caroling after our December book club

we had the bonus of having our neighbor Chase bring his saxophone this year to join us and to step up our performances around the neighborhood

We picked up a tuba player along the way...

and then Anna went to grab her flute...

Oh what fun it was to have a marching band accompanying us on our caroling...
MERRY MERRY INDEED!

Wyldlife

Hard to believe that we have a girl who is old enough to go to Wyldlife!! (Wyldlife is the middle school version of Young Life.)  Two weeks ago they had a hilarious game of bowling with a small frozen turkey with the goal of trying to knock down 2 Liter bottles of soda. Why not??!! Tonight, it was a game of glow in the dark tag.  Super fun times and sweet relationships that are being built...

photo bombed in the back by their fearless YL leaders. :)

belated birthday cheers

a very happy belated birthday to Papa!
so thankful that Papa got to be with the Montana crew on his real birthday and thankful we got to give him a birthday hug on his way back to Anacortes last night... :)
