We went to the California Botanical Gardens in Claremont on Friday morning while Anna was in class, and it was such fun to use Mom's PictureThis app on her phone to identify so many beautiful plants.

On Friday, we drove into Los Angeles to the Laurel Canyon neighborhood and got to visit with our old friend Cary Brothers who introduced us to his adorable 4 month old baby boy Finn. We loved hearing how Cary and Jess landed in their house in this neighborhood where he originally recorded his song Blue Eyes in 2004. They also are so grateful to be in close proximity with good friends who also live in the neighborhood (some of whom are famous like Florence Pugh!)

Star of the Show

We got to see Anna perform again last night (Friday) in her show (and she had two more shows today), and she was a STAR! Her wonderful roommate Katie told me that she loved watching Anna dance as she embodied both strength and grace all at once on stage. I could not agree more. Such a gift to see her shine and to get to meet so many friends who came to cheer her on!
