HAPPY 13th to Miss Anna!
It was a great celebration for Anna of the 13th today with her cousins arriving this morning from Montana followed by field day, friends coming over to play after school, and ending with a picnic at the Rose Garden for dinner.
early morning hugs
I was glad that Anna did not break a leg running out to see her cousins as she sprinted out of the house when I drove up with Cazden and Colter in tow.
The rose garden was beautiful tonight and I am glad to have rediscovered this place for the summer.
The day was mostly rosy, but we did have a thorn at the end when sweet Colter banged his lip at the end when he fell climbing a tree- thankfully, we had two family practice doctors with us at the picnic and they checked him out and reassured us that he would be okay before we took him home and put him to bed...
Roses and Thorns- it's what this life is made of for sure...
