With our last full day here with the Whites, we have packed it in to make the most of our time today. It has been fun to have some adventures here in Seattle with them that have been on our wish list for a while! We conquered the rock climbing wall at REI this morning, the Fremont neighborhood tour midday, and a visit to Pike Place Market & the infamous gum wall this afternoon, and then we ended the day at University Presbyterian Church for church and dinner. It's hard to beat a day like this with such dear friends...
Sitting over on the bench in this picture is Anna with Rachel after Anna's first attempt up the rock climbing wall. She tried a difficult route and got scared so she came down. Rachel was the best and gave her lots of hugs and encouragement. Our guide at REI let Anna have another chance at the end to try again on another route, and she made it to the top on her second try! When each of the kids made it to the top, they were able to see the Space Needle from their vantage point. :) What a great view from the top!
