Any parent can appreciate this verse from James below.
17-18 Real
wisdom, God’s wisdom, begins with a holy life and is characterized by getting
along with others. It is gentle and reasonable, overflowing with mercy and
blessings, not hot one day and cold the next, not two-faced. You can develop a
healthy, robust community that lives right with God and enjoy its results only if
you do the hard work of getting along with each other, treating each other with
dignity and honor.
James 3:17-18 The Message
I am thankful for a weekend with five sweet kiddos (Anna & Taylor along with Seth, Caleb and Hannah Langford). Seeing this crew work together to build forts in the house and on the beach was such fun (and also gave them some good practice in the "hard work of getting along with each other- treating each other with dignity and honor" as they had the challenge of figuring out compromises with fort building, games, and time together. The kids left the weekend wishing we could have stayed longer which is always the sign of a great time!

How amazing is it to walk in after a run and to be handed a plate of blueberry pancakes?!
A huge thanks to Kelly!!
