Right before Taylor left this afternoon to go play soccer with a friend, I got an email from his soccer league with the results from the soccer tryouts that he had this past week for spring season.
The big news was that Taylor made the green team which was the team he was hoping to make (and which is the best team in his age division!).
I did not say anything to Taylor at the time so that I could decorate his room for the big announcement and have it decked out in green for his return. When he got back, Jason went up to his room and told him that he needed to come up because something had spilled in his room. He was bummed he was going to have to clean something up, but when he walked in his room, he was welcomed with green balloons, green streamers and the letter about his team printed in green for him to see. What a fun surprise today!! HOORAY!
