Yesterday was one of those "Alexander Days"for Taylor-
the kind that seem to be "terrible, horrible, no good and very bad..."
None of his friends were available to hang out.
Soccer practice was cancelled because of such poor air quality
due to smoke in the area from fires in Oregon.
The store was closed that we tried to go to for him to sell some sports equipment.
Another store where he wanted to sell some shoes was not taking new inventory that day.
Bottom line- nothing was going quite right.
So, I dragged him with me to pick up Anna and we headed to Top Pot Doughnuts on the way home.
A little spoonful of sugar at least brought a smile to the end of the day!
