We could not be more proud of Anna this weekend in Dance Fremont's annual Christmas show of the Steadfast Tin Soldier with her part as the Wind Up Doll!!! When she was given this part back in September, she told me she was "shocked and terrified" because it was a big part with some tough pointe work. But, she has some amazing teachers who knew she was up to the challenge, and she danced beautifully. My favorite part was seeing her joy after her show Saturday afternoon. She was beaming as she came out to greet us because she said it was her best performance yet. As the weekend went on, her teacher told me that she kept getting better with each performance and nailed it! She was such a star and really worked hard to make it look easy on stage!
