Over the last three weekends, I have been getting a break from my computer and from the heaviness of the world all around us by working on a project of creating some signs for our yard for celebrations in the year ahead. I borrowed a jigsaw from Dad's wood shop when we were there in August and have made 3 trips to Home Depot to get wood and the right spray paint to make these along with a trip to Hobby Lobby to buy a giant tub of gold glitter.
Here are pictures of the letters that spell out "Hooray!" and these will be stored alongside the ones that spell "Happy Birthday" for Anna's 18th, Jason's 50th and Taylor's 16th in the year ahead.
