what a way to start the day walking up to prayer mountain today with Veronica and Jane....
We met Jane (our friend Sabina's mom) who was praying at the mountain today too.... She is known to be a prayer warrior and it was an honor to be with her....
Isn't she one of the most gorgeous women you've ever seen?!
a different kind of grocery trip (see below for what we picked up to take to the banquet--- this is seriously farm to table here.)
Amazing to run into Silale in town (whom we sponsored for a while when he was in high school and college). He ended up getting his master's degree and is thinking about a PhD!
Another moment of deep gratitude to see where some of these amazing people have taken their lives....

Elizabeth (mom of two of the children in the program) sewed this Turkana style dress for me today to wear to the prayer/dedication service, and I got to borrow the beaded headband and belt from Veronica.... AMAZING!
with Dalmas
with Joshua (who is totally like my other brother here!)
My cheeks were hurting from smiling so much after he arrived... :)
with Veronica and Robert....
Billy and Patrick's auntie made this headband for me...
With Teresa, Mary, and Joshua who made the amazing meal for us....
(Anna and Taylor learned to make chapati from Mary and Joshua in 2016,
and I was so happy to see them again....)
our prayer/ consecration service for our new space for our office/center
It's hard to describe how powerful this was today..... we were totally on holy ground...
There were short sermons given by Veronica, me, Dalmas, and Jane. Joshua gave the main message. And then Veronica and I prayed for the center, and invited everyone to pray around the center too committing this place to God.... Joshua had oil and gave it to us to put on the doorposts and around the property. It was so beautiful to see the whole place covered with people spread around with arms outstretched and voices lifted up praying over this place....
Here is one of the grandmothers praying as we were coming back to close the ceremony....
