Come…let us adore him. The
Hebrew word for praise is tehilla, which primarily means “to
radiate” and “to reflect.” God’s invitation, then, is to be radiant in

saying goodbye at the Lodwar airport this morning
letters and small gifts left for Veronica's family before I left...
(There is just no proper way to thank them for their hospitality and love this week....)
with Grace, Joshua, and Emma this morning after arriving in Nairobi
(Joshua picked me up and we drove over to see the girls near Daystar University where Emma is a student)
If you google the word "joy," I believe that Joshua's face should be the first thing that appears on the search engine.... We had the best day together!
2004 when Joshua came to Seattle
2016 seeing Joshua and his family near Nairobi
While I was not able to see my dear friend Gladys in person today,
we talked on What'sApp.... it was as if no time had passed and it was such fun to reconnect today!

Nelius, Mochache, and Abby in Nairobi this evening
(We first met them as neighbors in the UDistrict when we first moved into our house
as Mochache was at UW getting his masters in public health from 2012-2014.)
They are such amazing people..... As I took them to the airport when they went back to Kenya, they have insisted upon getting up at 2 am tonight to take me to the airport for my 5 am flight!
picture they still have on their refrigerator to this day in Nairobi!!
