Taylor went with a guy named Graham (one of the instructors of the WFR course that he took in June) up to the top of Mount Baker. This is Taylor's second summit as he did it last year with his friend Lucian, but this was a different route (which he much preferred). They left Wednesday night from Seattle around 9 pm. and began hiking around 12:15 a.m. Thursday in the middle of the night. Mind you- this was after Taylor got back from our hike on Wednesday later in the afternoon! It seems that the beauty spurred him on (along with a couple of packets of dry instant coffee that he literally ate along the way!).
