Another Codswallop (year 9 of this tradition) in the books!
2025 Theme: SHOOK BY A BOOK
What book has shaped you—and still calls you back for another read? Bring your book to share for show and tell along with a key passage to read over dinner.
Dress Code: Jeans & Jewels
Casual comfort meets a touch of sparkle; casual hangs with formal. Think denim with statement earrings, sneakers with a sequined top, or your favorite hoodie and a tiara (guys feel free to use these suggestions or create a twist of your own).
Everyone bring a dish (see below) and a drink to share.
Menu: Comfort Food with an Elegant Glow-Up
We’re talking mac & cheese with truffle oil alongside champagne, sliders with brioche buns, or roasted veggies with balsamic glaze and a Brunello. Cozy classics with a hint of the Hamptons or Beverly Hills 90210. We will take care of dessert (perhaps brownies dressed up with sea salt and gold dust- who knows what we will come up with when the time comes!).
