As I go down stairs after the marathon, I am reminded of Wesley in Princess Bride when he is "mostly dead" and is stumbling through the castle in his attempt to rescue Buttercup. However, my heart is definitely filled to the brim with gratitude, and I'm thankful I was able to walk to Green Lake and around with Janie yesterday (over 7 miles!). And I'm also grateful I don't need a wheelbarrow today.
