Jed invited some folks to join him and Kirsten to paddle down by the UW Horticulture Center and on around to the Arboretum as one of the many activities he was doing this past weekend for his birthday festivities. Anna and I were totally game to throw our kayaks on the car for the 5 minute shuttle down to Lake Washington and to join them for a lovely urban paddling adventure on Sunday.
It was like going to the zoo--
we got to see raccoons, turtles, herons, ducks, geese, eagles and more...
