Jason usually gets up before the rest of the household to start the day, and Poppy has found her new morning friend. Jason opens the door to the little closet where she stays at night, and then she scampers out to the living room. As soon as Jason sits on the couch, she jumps right up on the couch next to him and waits patiently (sometimes) for him to scratch her tummy. I love their little morning routine.
These pictures below are when I came down the stairs on Thursday morning early to go for a run and Poppy took notice and wanted my attention for a brief moment.
