We left on Thursday afternoon and headed over to Leavenworth for the ultimate 50th birthday escape at the Post Hotel. This hotel is unbelievable- with incredible attention to detail in every part of the decor, with the spa rooms (eucalyptus steam room, anyone?) that make the world melt away, with the delicious food, and with the spectacular views. This was the perfect place to go to celebrate Jason for a night away and for the chance to wake up in the mountains on his actual birthday on Friday.
We soaked up every minute. :) What a lavish gift!
