oh HAPPY day!
Ratnakar arrived in Seattle today!! He is here in the US for a conference in South Dakota that starts next weekend and we get to have him here with us for the next week before that starts. :) :) :)

On the way home, we stopped by BC's house to put up a birthday banner since today is his b'day. I was almost 100% sure he would not be there and that we could decorate without getting caught. But alas, he was home, so we had a good laugh as he supervised the birthday banner getting taped outside his house and the sidewalk chalk being written on his stairs. :)
