Last night, we got to ring in 50 with Tamara, and it was so special. Dave nailed it with his toasts as he dug up old letters he had written to Tamara from the 1990's, 2000's, 2010's, and 2020's (one from each decade) and read them through the evening. This richness of friendship over so many years is the very best stuff of life...
Wednesday night 10:45 p.m.
The snowman and the reindeer were still standing strong by the time Tamara and Dave got home on Wednesday night, but the Santa had somehow blown off the roof even though we thought we anchored it enough with a chair. Seemed he wanted to be a bit closer to his buddy on that summer evening....
