A Full Circle Moment

Yesterday was a first—I went to a baby shower for Jodi’s daughter, Ruth, who’s due in July. Which means Jodi is becoming a grandmother! I can’t quite wrap my head around it—I still remember making a baby blanket for Jodi when she was pregnant with Ruth. Full circle indeed.

Drop Everything: Sunshine

We’ve had tons of rain and clouds this past week, but yesterday afternoon the sun finally broke through, and Jason, Willow, and I popped out onto the front porch like a few moles, blinking in the sunlight, eager to soak it all in.

Rainy Day Magic

I love the cherry blossoms in any kind of weather, but the rainy days might be my favorite—fewer crowds, and a quiet hush settles over the quad, with soft, muted pink stretching out in every direction.
