Our Wheel of Candy

Back in 2004, we went trick or treating in Nashville on Barton Avenue to the Dennison's house and went to their "Wheel of Candy" that was set up. You could win one piece, two pieces or three pieces of candy.  You could lose one, two or three pieces of candy. OR you could win a vegetable. When Anna was just two weeks shy of turning two, she spun and won a vegetable. She was given a piece of celery, and you would have thought that she won the lottery! She carried it around like a trophy all night and it was priceless to watch. (By the way, she does not even like celery!)

See the pictures below for our wheel of candy fun back in 2004...

Dr. Dennison used this wheel in his class at Vanderbilt, but he would pull it out for Halloween and put these labels on here for a fun Halloween treat at their house.

We made our own Wheel Of Candy!!  When the kids said that they wanted to pass out candy this year, we made our own wheel inspired by our experience in 2004 in Nashville... :)
