we had such a fun Christmas party last night---
so grateful for good food and sweet community (and ugly Christmas sweaters)
Codswallop #3 Dinner is on the calendar for Friday, December 14th.
ATTIRE:
Dig into your closets, tacky neighbors' closets, or local thrift stores for some festive holiday attire.
And if you're not sure what to wear, check it out:
We are not asking you to order anything out of this catalog because it is much too expensive, but feel free to use this as inspiration for your outfit for the evening.
READING:
Bring a poem to read (dig through your old favorites and bring one to share around the table)--this can range from deep and meaningful to light and inspirational to humorous--your choice.
FOOD and DRINK:
A beverage or two, and
Two options for food:
--a favorite holiday recipe (perhaps we can have a meal of lots of appetizers or tapas) or
--something that is red and green. Be creative...
Our contribution will be festive cranberry cocktails to start off the evening and a chocolate fountain to top off the evening with strawberries, kiwi (red and green) along with other fun fruit to share...
