Last week on Wednesday, Anna and Taylor had the day off of school as a day between semesters. It's a grading and meeting day for teachers, and it marks that half the year is over. Anna went with some friends from the Edge to Crystal Mountain and tried snowboarding for the first time. Jason and I both thought that maybe skiing would be easier since she at least has experience on two skis with cross country and skate skiing, but she was set on trying snowboarding.
Though she definitely had her share of falls, she only came home with one battle wound from a face plant on the ice. Overall, she rocked it and had a fabulous time! I am so proud of her for trying something new and having such a fun time in the mix.
