Social Distancing Volunteering

All of us, at some time or other, need help. Whether we’re giving or receiving help, each one of us has something valuable to bring to this world. That’s one of the things that connects us as neighbors—in our own way, each one of us is a giver and a receiver.

We're trying to find ways to help here in Seattle when we can in spaces that limit the number of people and that keep social distancing in place. (And each week the rules seem to keep changing so we have to keep on our toes about that.)

making burritos last weekend at Union for residents who live in the Lake Union Tiny House Community.  (See this article about these tiny houses).

Taylor turned into our master wrapper- and knocked out 120 burritos

Go team!

Anna and I got a call from a neighbor to come help garden last weekend.
While we all kept our distance, it was fun to get to know these neighbors better and we got a lot done together in the sunshine.
