Beaten Path- Day 1

We began our hike on the Beaten Path from the Clarks Fork Trailhead on Monday and headed to a beautiful camping spot about 7 miles in between Ouzel Lake and Bald Knob Lake.

The day started out with lots of mosquitoes but thankfully, they did not swarm all day and we had mosquito nets for our heads when we got to our first campsite. The wildflowers were pretty amazing (I have now dubbed them trail confetti :) ), and we had some great family time and conversations on the trail along the way.

off we go into the wild blue yonder...

This is the real size of the fish--
but Uncle Dan knows how to impress with a fishing photo!
