a royal wedding....

what an honor to witness Farris & Taylor's wedding today... 

Anna and Taylor were given the honor of handing out programs at the wedding today 

Mark's closing words to Farris and Taylor (as quoted from the Bishop of Canterbury's speech at the royal wedding of Kate and William) 

Mark is one of my favorite people on the planet... 

Dear Lord,

Thank You so much for Farris and for Taylor.

Thank You that two are better than one.

Thank You that you have designed it so that when they fall, one will lift the other up.

Thank You that as demanding and nourishing and difficult as marriage can be 

that You will continue to teach them to love one another 

as they run to You seeking forgiveness and grace. 

Thank You that there is so much to be gained from commitment 

and that it will make them strong and wise and full of joy.  

Thank You that as they learn to love one another that they will see Your face. 

We pray that their love will overflow to all with whom they share the journey. 

Enable them add to the beauty in each other and in the world.

Enable them to live their lives so that those to whom love is a stranger 

will find in them generous friends.

Confirm their joy by a lively sense of your presence with them this day and always.

We praise You for the gift of Farris and Taylor and 

for this time to celebrate and savor and give thanks.
