You would have not have known at all that Taylor took a redeye flight on Wednesday night because he had so much energy and was so psyched to have some time with Jake yesterday for a pre-birthday celebration. Sure love these friendships that have deep roots.
The boys drew an idea for Abba to make a soccer goal yesterday afternoon, and so out came the PVC pipe and the drill right when he got home from work. He whipped this up in no time and they had a lot of fun!
Jake offered to pray at dinner and my heart just about melted on the spot. I tried to write it down right after so I would not forget what he said:
"Dear God, thank you for friends and family. Thank you for this food. Thank you that we can worship you. Thank you for the faith that you gave to Taylor. Thank you for making Taylor my friend. Amen."
