While Anna is at camp this week, I thought I would share this very sweet habit that she has with her stuffed animals. Every night as she is climbing into bed, she grabs the stuffed animal that has a bracelet around its neck. (see below)
That tells her that it is this animal's turn to snuggle with her that night along with the ones she always sleeps with (Puppy-the beloved dog she has slept with since she was born, George-the bunny, Doug- the giant dog & Rainy-the snake)....
(because she can't possibly fit all the critters on her bed under the covers and have room for herself too!)
Then the next morning, without fail, when she makes her bed she moves the bracelet to another stuffed animal so that they all have a turn. I love how she spreads the love to keep it fair. :)
She's one good mama.
These guys are counting the minutes until they get to see Anna come home on Saturday!
