At 9:30 at night as we were taking Anna back to her dorm after the dance performance on Friday night, we saw this wonderful guy dressed as Santa crossing the street (and I pulled the car over to take a photo as you do....) He is a junior at Pomona dressed up for a fundraiser that night, and he was a really good sport to snap a photo with us crazy ladies.

so grateful for this amazing place! (I think this is the 8th time I've stayed at this Airbnb for all my Scripps visits (from when we went to check it out when Anna was deciding, for dropping her off, for parents weekends, and for dance performances!)
wonderful "winter" picnic brunch with Lucy, Claire, Tierney, Liv, and Anna on Saturday morning before we left.... so grateful for such a sweet community surrounding Anna!
