This bunny has stolen our hearts. I must warn you that if you come to our house these days that the first thing we will do is to introduce you to Poppy. We will subject you to petting our bunny and to admitting that she is the softest rabbit in the entire world. Just like new parents who can't get over how miraculous their new baby is, we are simply head over heels with this first pet in our home. She's good medicine for us all.

Poppy next to the stone bunny given to us for our wedding....
(Dan Cravy and Guy Tucker have a hilarious story of getting this wedding gift back to Seattle for us as their carry-on luggage. Running through the airport so they would not miss a plane with a 50 pound bunny shows some serious love and commitment to our friendship. Who knew that 18 years later that we would have a real bunny to sit next to this stone one?!)
