We had Isaac, Eva, Sophie and Taylor over tonight. After dinner, I asked them if they knew what today was....and after a few blank stares, I pulled out my bag of pirate gear and let them know that today is INTERNATIONAL TALK LIKE A PIRATE DAY! Why not?!
So we headed to the park and they took turns going on the zip line wearing pirate hats, eye patches and the like and they shouted "ARRR!" as they flew through the air on the zip line.
And for our treasure hunt, we headed to Trader Joe's in costume and they had to try to find Sam to get the treasure (the lollipops given out by the staff there when you spot this stuffed animal that is hiding somewhere new everyday.)
