We headed on a little road trip yesterday to see the matinee of Les Mis at a community theater in Vancouver. It was an INCREDIBLE show with some of the most beautiful voices performing this brilliant story. It was also a bit of a dream come true because I've wanted to take Anna to see the play ever since she picked up this book and has been plowing her way through it. What a gift to get to immerse ourselves in the world of Jean Valjean, Javert, Cosette, Fantine, and Marius for the afternoon!
The actor playing Jean Valjean was just as gracious out of character after the show and even signed our book for us...
