dare to have hope

These pictures popped up today from 8 years ago on September 28, 2009.  There's something about these little faces that hold such hope and promise.... 

This morning, I read this prayer that my friend Leoma Giley from Knoxville wrote below. I look at the hope in these pictures, and then think about the aches that life can bring that can erode that hope at times. But Leoma wisely asks that God would enable us to DARE to have hope. 
I love that-- because it is a dare in the face of the darkness. 
But let's do it.
 Let's keep hoping because we know that this is not the end of the story 
and because we know there is a Love that does not let us go.
